Build My College List

Enter your GPA and test score, how many schools you can apply to, and how many you want in each category. We'll pick a balanced list that favors the schools you're most likely to get into, and show your odds of getting at least 1, 2, 3 or more acceptances.

How many in each category?

Legacy, early action / early decision, and must-have schools (optional)

Legacy status and early rounds only help at specific schools, so add the schools you're a legacy at or are sure you want, and choose how you'll apply to each. You can also change these on any school after your list is built.

Optional preferences (narrow the schools we choose from)

For-profit schools, online-only schools, and the U.S. service academies (which require a nomination and a service commitment) are always left out.

How to read this: chances are rough estimates from each school's acceptance rate, adjusted for where your score falls in its admitted-student range and for your GPA. They are not predictions: College Scorecard has no GPA, course rigor, essay, or activity data. Use the list as a starting point and check each school's own admissions page.
